Ratnakar leads Smart Coupons, Bulk Variations Manager, Cashier and other StoreApps plugins for WooCommerce. Between them they cover the machinery behind selling online: coupons, gift cards and store credit, pricing across hundreds of product variations, and the checkout itself. He also works on software licensing and the systems that decide who gets access to what after they pay. It's the part of a store where small mistakes cost real money, and where a clever setup today turns into a support headache next year.

He mentors the teams that build these plugins, and earlier worked on Smart Manager. A Master of Computer Applications gave him the technical grounding. Working through real merchants' problems gave him the habit he's known for: taking a tangled problem and finding the simplest version of it that still holds up as the store grows.
