Compatibility with WPML
Smart Manager plugin provides seamless compatibility with WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) to help you efficiently manage multilingual data across your WordPress site.
WPML enables easy creation and management of translations for any post type, including WooCommerce Products, Posts, Pages, custom post types, and more. When combined with Smart Manager, you get powerful editing capabilities with automatic synchronization across all language translations for any post type you’re managing.
No Additional Setup Needed
Smart Manager works seamlessly with WPML right out of the box, no extra configuration or additional plugins required!
Prerequisites:
- WPML plugin installed and activated on your site.
- Smart Manager Pro installed and activated.
- WPML configured with your desired languages.
That’s it! Once both plugins are active, Smart Manager will automatically detect your WPML setup and enable multilingual data management directly from the Smart Manager dashboard. No additional extensions or add-ons are needed.
Steps To Create Translations using WPML
- To translate content: Go to WPML → Translation Management → Translation Dashboard.
- Select the post type you want to translate (Products, Posts, Pages, Custom Post Types, etc.).
- Choose the specific records you want to translate.

Automatic Sync of Updates Across Languages
One of the most powerful features of using Smart Manager with WPML is the automatic synchronization of updates across all translations.
How It Works:
When you update any posty type field in Smart Manager, the change is automatically applied to all translations of that record. This means:
- Edit once, update everywhere, no need to manually replicate changes across languages.
- Consistent data across all languages for products, posts, pages, or any post type.
- Significant time savings when managing large multilingual sites.
- Reduced risk of errors or inconsistencies between translations.
Example: Update the price, category, or tags for a WooCommerce Product in your default language from the Smart Manager dashboard, and those changes will automatically sync to all translated versions — English, Spanish, French, and any other languages you’ve configured.
Using Smart Manager & WPML Together
Viewing Specific Language Records in Smart Manager
To view records in a specific language, use the WPML language switcher in the WordPress admin bar. Smart Manager automatically displays content in the selected language.

Example: Switch to Spanish in the admin bar, and Smart Manager shows all Spanish translations. Switch to French to view French content.
Updating Records using Inline Edit & Bulk Edit
Smart Manager offers two powerful ways to update your multilingual content, with all changes automatically syncing across translations.
Inline Edit — Quick Updates to Individual Records

Double click on any cell, make your change, and save — updates will automatically sync across all translations.
- Example: Update the regular price of “Leather Jacket” from $99 to $89, and the change instantly applies to English, Spanish, and French translations.
Bulk Edit — Updates to Multiple Records at Once

Select multiple records, apply changes to one or more fields, and watch updates sync across all translations in seconds.
- Example: Apply a 20% discount across multiple products at once, and all sale prices will automatically sync across all translations.
Note(s):
- It is recommended to work in your default language when editing records from the Smart Manager dashboard to avoid misconfigurations across translations.
- Only Smart Manager Pro version is compatible with WPML.
