How to Bulk Edit Products, Coupons, and Entire Line Items in WooCommerce Orders or Subscriptions
Managing orders and subscriptions in WooCommerce can be time-consuming — especially when you need to make the same updates across multiple entries. Manually adding products, applying coupons, or adjusting line items one by one quickly becomes repetitive and inefficient.
With Smart Manager’s Bulk Edit functionality, you can add or remove products and coupons, or even copy entire line items from one order or subscription to another — all in just a few clicks. It’s a faster, more efficient way to manage your WooCommerce store and keep things running smoothly.
Steps to Bulk Edit Line Items in WooCommerce Orders or Subscriptions:
- Go to the Smart Manager dashboard. Using the top navigation bar, search for and select
Orders/Subscriptions
dashboard from the dropdown menu. - Select as many records as you want. You can also apply search filters to filter records and select some records from it to perform the bulk edit operation. To bulk edit all records, tick the header checkbox.
- Click on the Bulk Edit button. It will open up a slide-over panel.
- In the Bulk Edit panel,
- Select the
Line items
as value in field dropdown. - Choose one of the following actions from the ‘action’ dropdown:
- add coupon: Add a specific coupon to the selected records.
- remove coupon: Remove a specific coupon from the selected records.
- copy coupon from: Copy coupons from another order/subscription into the selected records.
- add product: Add a new product line item to the selected records.
- remove product: Remove a specific product line item from the selected records.
- copy product from: Copy only product line items from another order/subscription into the selected records.
- copy from: Copy all line items (e.g., products, shipping, fees, etc.) from another order/subscription into the selected records.
- Select the appropriate product, coupon, or order from the ‘value’ dropdown, according to your chosen action.

- Click on the ‘Update’ button. It’ll show you two options to choose:
- Now: To make the changes in bulk instantly.
- Schedule for later: To schedule the Bulk Edit operation for your desired date and time.
- Once you’ve selected the desired option from the previous step, click ‘Ok’ to start the Bulk Edit process.

Notes:
- Bulk Edit functionality and access to the WooCommerce Subscriptions dashboard are available only in the Pro version.
- Just like WooCommerce’s default behavior, bulk editing line items is only possible if the selected orders or subscriptions are in ‘On Hold’, ‘Pending’, or ‘Draft/Auto-draft’ status.
