How to Assign Coupons to Affiliates

There are several affiliate plugins like Affiliate for WooCommerce that let you assign WooCommerce coupons to affiliates for promotional use, turning them into referral coupons.

But when you’re managing hundreds of affiliates, manually editing each coupon one by one becomes time-consuming and inefficient.

That’s where Smart Manager comes in. It allows you to bulk edit multiple coupons at once, saving time and effort.

Follow the steps below to assign affiliate coupons in bulk.

  1. Go to the Smart Manager dashboard. From the navigation bar at the top, search and select Coupons from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on Columns and enable the Afwc Referral Coupon Of field. If the field isn’t visible, first edit it for at least one order using ‘Marketing > Coupons’. Then, check the Smart Manager Columns section — if the field appears in the ‘Disabled’ list, simply drag and drop it to enable.
  3. Use the Inline Edit feature to edit the ‘Afwc Referral Coupon Of’ field for multiple coupons and save all at once.
  4. Use the Bulk Edit feature to add or update the ‘Afwc Referral Coupon Of’ field for multiple coupons at once. You can also search using Simple Search before making edits.
  5. Additionally, export the ‘Afwc Referral Coupon Of’ field using the Export CSV functionality.

That’s it. Happy managing!

Notes:

  1. When editing the ‘Afwc Referral Coupon Of’ field using Inline Edit or Bulk Edit functionality, the value should be the desired affiliate user ID.
  2. Editing the ‘Afwc Referral Coupon Of’ field using the Bulk Edit functionality or exporting it using Export CSV functionality is available only in the Pro version.
